We The Gente® exists to fill that gap.
When immigration enforcement swept through southeastern Minnesota, families were suddenly without income, without groceries, and afraid to ask for help. We The Gente mobilized, coordinating food and essential supplies to hundreds of families, delivered quietly and with dignity.

We The Gente connected his wife with legal representation and covered the initial bond hearing fee right away. Working with community partners, we brought him home to his family.
